From the main entrance of Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, head south on South Shore Road. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Charles St. Turn right onto E Charles St and continue for about 0.5 miles. Mill Pond Preserve will be on your left. There is no entrance fee for Mill Pond Preserve.

Take the RIPTA bus #14 from the nearest bus stop to Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge. Ride towards the Charlestown area and get off at the stop closest to E Charles St. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk north along E Charles St to reach Mill Pond Preserve. Please check the RIPTA website for current schedules and potential fare costs.

Biking/Walking
If you are already in Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge and prefer biking or walking, you can take the same route as the car guidance. Follow South Shore Road south for approximately 1.5 miles, then turn right onto E Charles St. Continue for about 0.5 miles, and Mill Pond Preserve will be on your left. This is a scenic route, so enjoy the natural surroundings as you go.
