Getting There

  • Car

    From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, start by heading northwest on Trustom Pond Road. Continue onto S County Trail (RI-1A N) for about 5 miles. Merge onto RI-138 W and follow it for about 6 miles. Take the exit toward Bristol and continue on RI-136 N. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto Hope Street (RI-114). The Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center and Aquarium will be on your right at 1401 Hope St, Bristol, RI 02809. Parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    If traveling by public transportation, you will first need to reach the nearest bus station. From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, the nearest bus stop is at the intersection of S County Trail and RI-1A. Take the R.I. Public Transit bus #60 toward Newport. After about 20 minutes, transfer to bus #14 at the Newport station, which will take you to Bristol. Get off at the stop near Hope St. The Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center and Aquarium is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head north on Hope St, and you will find the aquarium at 1401 Hope St.
