    From Warwick, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the RIPTA Bus #1 (Kennedy Plaza via Post Rd). Ride the bus towards Providence. You will need to remain on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at Kennedy Plaza. Once at Kennedy Plaza, transfer to Bus #42 (Pawtuxet Village). Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at George Street. The John Carter Brown Library is a short walk away, located at 94 George St. Follow George Street towards the east, and you will see the library on your left.

    Walking

    If you are near the Warwick City Park, you can walk towards the nearest bus station and catch a bus to Providence, as mentioned above. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, you can head north towards Main Avenue. Walk along Main Avenue until you reach the intersection with Airport Road. Continue straight and cross over the bridge to enter Providence. From there, you can navigate towards College Hill to find the library. It's a long walk, approximately 5 miles, so make sure you have comfortable shoes!
