    If you are driving, head south on Route 1A from anywhere in West Bay. Continue on Route 1A until you reach Route 138. Merge onto Route 138 East. Follow Route 138 for about 6 miles. Take the exit for Jamestown/Bay View Drive and turn left onto Bay View Drive. Follow Bay View Drive, which will become Beavertail Road. Continue straight for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Beavertail State Park on your left.

    If you are using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus #14 from any central location in West Bay towards Newport. Get off at the 'Jamestown' stop. From there, it's approximately a 3-mile walk to Beavertail State Park. Head south on North Main Road (Route 138) and then take a right onto Beavertail Road. Follow Beavertail Road for about 2 miles until you reach the park entrance. Note that you may also need to check the bus schedule for the latest times and possible transfers.
