From West Bay, take Route 1 South towards Newport. Continue on Route 1 South for about 10 miles. As you approach Newport, merge onto Route 138 East. Follow the signs for Newport and keep an eye out for the Ocean Drive exit. Once on Ocean Drive, continue for about 2 miles until you reach Brenton Point State Park, which will be on your left. Look for the park entrance with a sign. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Brenton Point State Park via public transportation, start by taking the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus Route 60 from West Bay. Ride the bus towards Newport and get off at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the Route 67 bus towards Ocean Drive.
