    Start at the Westerly Train Station. Exit the station and head south on Railroad Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Post Road). Cross over to the other side of Route 1 using the pedestrian crosswalk. Once across, turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking for 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 2 (Kingston Road). Turn right onto Route 2 and proceed for about 1.5 miles. Look for signs directing you to the Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance, and then continue to Kettle Pond Visitor Center, located at 50 Bend Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813.
