    From the center of Westerly, head to the Westerly Train Station located at 14 Railroad Ave. Take the 66 bus towards New London. Make sure to check the bus schedule online or at the station. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Mystic Seaport stop. From there, walk towards the Mystic River Historic District, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will see signs directing you to the historic district.

    If you're comfortable riding a bike, you can rent one from a local shop in Westerly. Start at the Westerly Town Beach, and head north on Atlantic Ave. Continue onto Route 1 North (Post Rd). After about 4 miles, take a left onto Mystic St. Follow Mystic St. until you reach the Mystic River Historic District, which should take about 25-30 minutes of cycling.

    If you enjoy walking, you can start from the center of Westerly. Head north on High St. until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross over to Route 1 North and continue walking for about 4 miles. You will need to be cautious as this route has limited sidewalks. After you cross the Mystic River bridge, follow the signs to the Mystic River Historic District, which will be on your right.
