Getting There

• Car

  From Alba Iulia, get onto DN1 (E81) heading towards Sibiu. Continue on this road for approximately 90 km until you reach Brașov. Upon entering Brașov, follow signs for the city center. Once in the center, look for the signs leading to Muntele Tâmpa. You will need to park your car at a nearby parking facility (cost may vary, usually around 5-10 RON per hour). After parking, you can either hike up to Belvedere Tâmpa or take the cable car if available.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Alba Iulia, take a bus to Brașov. The journey takes about 2-3 hours depending on the traffic and schedule. You can check the schedules at the local bus station. Once in Brașov, get off at the central bus station (Autogara Brașov). From there, walk to the city center and follow the signs to Muntele Tâmpa. You may need to take a local bus or taxi if you prefer not to walk. Local buses to the base of Tâmpa usually cost around 2-5 RON.

• Train

  Take a train from Alba Iulia to Brașov. The train journey lasts about 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at Brașov train station, exit the station and take a taxi or local bus to the city center. From there, follow the signs to Muntele Tâmpa. Again, consider local transport options if walking is not preferred. Taxi fares from the train station to the center range from 15-25 RON.
