From Alba Iulia, take the DN1 road heading north towards Sebeș. Continue on DN1 for about 30 km until you reach the town of Aiud. In Aiud, follow the signs for DN75, which will lead you to the village of Gârda de Sus. Drive through Gârda de Sus, and look for signs directing you to the Scărişoara Glacier Cave. You will find a parking area near the cave entrance. The total driving distance is approximately 70 km and should take about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.

From Alba Iulia, take a bus to Gârda de Sus. You can catch a bus from the Alba Iulia bus station. The bus ride will take approximately 2 hours.
