After about 10 kilometers, you will reach a fork; take the road leading towards the village of Bistra. Continue for another 8 kilometers until you reach the marked trailhead for Avenul Borțig. Park your car at the designated parking area, and follow the marked hiking trail for approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the entrance of Avenul Borțig. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy, as some roads may not be well signposted.

For those using public transport, start your journey from the nearest major city, Cluj-Napoca. Take a bus to Campeni (the journey takes about 2-3 hours).
