Public Transport
From Arad, head to the Arad Central Train Station (Gara Arad) which is located in the city center. You can take a train from Arad to Timișoara. Trains run frequently, approximately every hour. Purchase a ticket at the station from the ticket counter or vending machines. Once you arrive at Timișoara Nord Train Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside. Take bus line 14 or 16 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Piața Victoriei'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Piața Sfântul Gheorghe. Head southeast on Strada 20 Decembrie 1989, turn left onto Strada Mihai Viteazul, and continue until you reach Piața Sfântul Gheorghe.
Walking
If you are already in Timișoara, you can easily walk to Piața Sfântul Gheorghe. Start from Piata Victoriei, which is a central point. Walk towards Strada Mihai Viteazul, and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you towards Piața Sfântul Gheorghe, which is a beautiful square known for its historical buildings and vibrant atmosphere.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable ride, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Timișoara to Piața Sfântul Gheorghe. Just look for a taxi stand or use a ridesharing app. The fare should be reasonable, typically ranging from 15 to 25 RON depending on your starting point. The taxi can take you directly to the square.
