Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Timișoara, head southwest on DN6 towards Lugoj. Continue on DN6 for about 70 km and take the exit towards DN58A. Follow DN58A for around 18 km to reach Carașova. Once in Carașova, follow the signs leading towards Peștera Văleaga. The cave is approximately 8 km from the center of Carașova, and you will need to drive on a gravel road for the last part of the journey.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Peștera Văleaga via public transport, take a train or bus from major cities in Banat (like Timișoara or Reșița) to Carașova. Check the local schedules as buses may not run frequently. Once in Carașova, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to cover the 8 km distance to the cave. Keep in mind that taxis may charge around 50-70 RON for the trip, depending on the negotiation.
