If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Mărgău. Take the DJ107M road heading southwest out of Mărgău for approximately 4 kilometers. You will reach a fork; take the left path that leads to a gravel road. Follow this gravel road for about 2 kilometers until you arrive at the parking area near the entrance of Humpleu Cave. Note that the road can be bumpy, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is usually free.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Cluj-Napoca to Mărgău. The bus service operates several times a day, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Mărgău, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to reach the cave. Walking from the bus station to the cave entrance is approximately a 6-kilometer trek along the DJ107M road, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. It's advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water.
