Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards DJ763. From Zalău, take the DN1H road towards Șimleu Silvaniei. Once you reach Șimleu, continue on DJ108C until you reach the intersection with DJ763. Turn left onto DJ763 and follow the road for about 15 km. You will find signs pointing towards Peștera Șușman. There is a small parking area near the entrance of the cave.
Public Transportation
To visit Peștera Șușman using public transportation, start from Zalău. Take a bus from the Zalău Bus Station towards Șimleu Silvaniei. Once you arrive in Șimleu, you may need to transfer to another bus heading towards the nearby village of Cuzăplac. From Cuzăplac, you can either walk (approximately 6 km) to reach the cave or arrange for a local taxi. Ensure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Zalău to Peștera Șușman. The taxi fare will depend on the distance and time of day, but expect it to be around 50-70 RON. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. This option is convenient if you are traveling with a group.
