Starting from the center of Brașov, head towards the DN1E road (also known as Calea Bucureștilor) and follow the signs for Poiana Brașov. After approximately 12 km, you will reach Poiana Brașov. Continue on this road, passing through the picturesque landscape. After entering Poiana Brașov, follow the signs towards the Ciucaș Mountains. There may be a small parking fee at the entrance of the area where you can park your car. From the parking area, you will find marked trails going towards Lacul Noua. The hike to the lake takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

From the central bus station in Brașov (Autogara 1), take a bus towards Poiana Brașov. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately 5-10 RON (Romanian Leu). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Poiana Brașov, follow the signs for the hiking trails leading to Lacul Noua. The hike from Poiana Brașov to the lake will take approximately 1-2 hours. Ensure you check the bus schedule for your return trip as service can vary.
