Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the city center, head towards Strada Republicii. Walk straight until you reach Piața Sfatului, where you will see the Black Church. From Piața Sfatului, take Strada Poarta Schei, which leads you towards the base of Tâmpa Mountain. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the Tâmpa Mountain hiking trail, marked by signs. Follow the trail upwards for about 30-40 minutes; the hike is moderately steep but offers beautiful views. Once you reach the top, you will see the large letters spelling 'Literele Brașovului'. From the city center, walk to the bus station at Livada Poștei. You can catch bus number 20, which goes towards Tâmpa Mountain. Get off at the Tâmpa cable car station stop.
