Getting There

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the center of Brașov, head to the main bus station (Autogara 2) which is located at Strada Lunga 1. You can walk there from the Council Square (Piața Sfatului) in about 15 minutes, heading north. Once at the bus station, look for the bus lines that go to Cristian or Râșnov. Buses to Cristian are relatively frequent. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Strada Pta Libertății, which is where the Fortified Church is located. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes to the church.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and wish to walk to Cristian from Brașov, start from the Council Square (Piața Sfatului). Head north on Strada Mureșenilor, which will turn into Strada Crișan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada 13 Decembrie. Turn left here and follow the road, which will take you out of Brașov. After about 1.5 to 2 hours of walking (approximately 7 km), you will arrive in Cristian. The Fortified Church is located on Strada Pta Libertății. As you approach the center of Cristian, look for signs directing you to the church.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  From anywhere in Brașov, you can use a taxi service or a rideshare app like Uber. Simply input 'Strada Pta Libertății 10, Cristian' as your destination. The drive will typically take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are familiar with the location of the Fortified Church.
