From the city center of Brașov, head to the main bus station (Autogara 2) located at Strada 13 Decembrie 49. You can take Bus 20 or Bus 21 from the station. Make sure to buy your ticket from the kiosk before boarding. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Strada Cetățuia'. From there, it is a short walk to the fortress. Follow Strada Cetățuia uphill, and you will see the Fortress-on-Straja on your left.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Black Church located at Piața Sfatului. Head northwest on Strada Michael Weiss, then turn right onto Strada Mureșenilor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Cetățuia. Turn left onto Strada Cetățuia and walk uphill for about 20 minutes. The fortress will be on your right side.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can also opt for a taxi or rideshare service like Bolt or Uber. Simply input 'Strada Cetățuia 7, Brașov' as your destination. The drive from the city center should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
