Spectacular Private Hike in Romania Day Trip from Bucharest

Amazing Day

This was an amazing day with our guide Vlad. Very knowledgeable and great to mix an amazing Unesco site with a beautiful 3 hour nature hike. Communication was great as well. Vlad had snacks and water. We chose not to stop for lunch, but still a long day. Strongly recommend starting no later than 7:30am

Local experience from Brasov - Transylvanian villages and Bran Castle

Unesco Monasteries

We had an excellent tour with Rolandia and we highly recommend Leonard as a guide. What stood out most was his professionalism, knowledge, and genuine passion for the places and stories he shared with us. Our tour focused on the UNESCO monasteries in Romania, but the experience went far beyond simply visiting beautiful buildings. Leonard gave us a fascinating understanding of the history and religious significance of the monasteries, as well as the role they played in the conflicts and development of the region. We also explored the centre of Iaşi and visited some nice museums, which gave us a broader perspective on Romania’s history and culture. One of the things I appreciated most was learning about the different communities that have come together in Romania throughout the centuries. It is very clear that Leonard invests a great deal of time in learning, researching, and preparing his tours. As a local, his knowledge of the region is exceptional, but what makes him truly stand out is the heart he puts into sharing that knowledge. He is passionate about his region and also makes an effort to support local businesses and introduce visitors to the authentic character of the places they visit. An excellent guide and a wonderful ambassador for the region.

Unforgettable experience

Excellent experience. Impressive landscapes. Hike was a bit strenuous though. Need to be in shape but it is worth it.
