Travel Guide to Solomon's Rocks

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Brașov, head southwest on Strada Mureșenilor toward Bulevardul Eroilor. Turn left onto Bulevardul Eroilor and continue onto Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Bulevardul Griviței, where you will turn right. Continue straight onto Strada Poiana Soarelui, which will lead you to the parking area near Solomon's Rocks. Note that parking may incur a small fee, depending on the time of season.

• Public Transportation

  From the main bus station in Brașov (Autogara Brașov), you can take bus number 20 towards Poiana Brașov. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Poiana Brașov stop. From there, it's a 15-20 minute walk to Solomon's Rocks. Follow the signs towards the hiking trail leading to the Rocks. Be aware that the bus may have a fare of around 2-3 RON.

• Taxi or Ride-sharing

  You can also opt for a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber from anywhere in Brașov. Simply input 'Solomon's Rocks' into the app to get directions. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes from the city center, and the cost can vary but expect to pay around 30-50 RON depending on traffic.

• Walking

  For the more adventurous, if you're staying close to the base of the Tampa Mountain, you can hike from the city center. Start from the Tampa Cable Car station and hike up towards the mountain trails, which will lead you to Solomon's Rocks. The entire hike can take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace, and offers stunning views along the way.
