If you are traveling by car, first navigate to the Buila-Vanturarita National Park area. From the town of Horezu, take DN67C towards the village of Bălcești. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance to the park. Once you enter the park, follow the signs towards Lotrișor Waterfall. The parking area is located near the trailhead, and there may be a small parking fee (around 5 RON). After parking, follow the well-marked hiking trails that lead to the waterfall. The hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, take a bus from Râmnicu Vâlcea to Horezu. Once in Horezu, you can take a taxi or a local minibus to reach the entrance of Buila-Vanturarita National Park. The taxi fare should be around 20-30 RON. Upon arrival at the park, you will need to hike to Lotrișor Waterfall. Follow the signs from the entrance towards the waterfall, which is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour hike. Ensure you check the bus schedules ahead of time for your return journey.

After parking your car or arriving by public transportation, start your hike on the marked trail towards Lotrișor Waterfall. The trail is well-maintained, but be prepared for some steep sections.
