Travel Guide to Vergu-Mănăilă House

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Vergu-Mănăilă House, start from the center of Buzău. Head southeast on Strada Unirii towards Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu, and continue for approximately 800 meters. Turn left onto Strada Războieni. After a short drive, you will find Vergu-Mănăilă House at number 8 on your left. There is street parking available, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Vergu-Mănăilă House using public transportation, you can take bus line 10 or 12 from the central bus station (Autogara Buzău). Buses run frequently, approximately every 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu' stop. From there, walk southeast along Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu for about 800 meters until you reach Strada Războieni. Turn left onto Strada Războieni, and the house will be at number 8. The bus fare is around 2.5 RON (approximately 0.5 EUR).

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the city center, you can walk to the Vergu-Mănăilă House. Start at the Buzău City Hall, located on Strada Unirii. Head southeast towards Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Strada Războieni and continue walking for another 200 meters. The museum will be on your left at Strada Războieni 8. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
