If you are traveling by car from the city center of Caransebeș, head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 toward Strada Gării. Continue onto DJ582, following signs for Timișoara. After about 15 km, turn left onto DJ586, following signs for Poiana Mărului. Continue on DJ586 for approximately 12 km, and then turn right onto the road towards Lacul Prisaca. Continue straight until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. The drive takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

To reach Cascada Fecioara Maria using public transportation, start at the Caransebeș bus station. Take a bus heading towards Timișoara, and ask the driver to drop you off at Poiana Mărului. This bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From Poiana Mărului, you will need to walk approximately 2 km towards Lacul Prisaca. Follow the signs along the road.
