Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Caransebeș, the main town in Caraș-Severin. Take DN58 towards Reșița. After approximately 20 km, turn left onto DJ582 towards Carașova. Continue on DJ582 for about 22 km until you reach Carașova. From the village center, follow the signs to Peștera Văleaga, which is located about 4 km from the village. There are some unpaved roads, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. There may be a small parking fee near the cave entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Peștera Văleaga via public transportation, take a train or bus to Caransebeș. From Caransebeș, look for a bus heading to Carașova. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Carașova, you can either walk (approximately 1 hour) or take a taxi to the cave, which is about 4 km away. Confirm taxi availability in advance as services may be limited in rural areas.
