Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Reșița, the capital of Caraș-Severin County. Head northeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 towards Strada Petru Maior. Continue onto DJ586 for approximately 7 km. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto DJ571. Follow DJ571 for about 20 km. You will see signs for Nera Monastery. The monastery is located on the right side of the road. Parking is available nearby.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Nera Monastery via public transportation, take a bus from the Reșița Central Bus Station to the village of Sasca Montană. Buses run regularly, and the fare is approximately 15 RON (about 3 EUR). Once you arrive in Sasca Montană, you will need to walk approximately 4 km along DJ571 towards Nera Monastery. Be sure to check the bus schedule beforehand, as services may be limited on weekends.

If you are already in Sasca Montană and prefer to walk, head southeast on DJ571. The monastery is about a 4 km walk from the village center. The path is scenic, and you will encounter beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It might take you around 1 hour to reach the monastery on foot.
