After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach Polovragi. Once in Polovragi, follow the local signs towards Cheile Oltețului. There is a small parking area available near the entrance to the gorge. Please be aware that parking may incur a fee of around 5 RON.

    To reach Cheile Oltețului by public transport, first take a bus from the nearest town in the park (e.g., Baia de Fier) to Târgu Jiu. From Târgu Jiu, transfer to another bus headed to Polovragi.
