As a group of Erasmus french students and teachers, we've been to a 2-hour guided tour of the center of Cluj with Manuela. She adapted her english for our students and also spoke french with them. Nicolas runs a brilliant tour. We've just come off a 6-day tour with him, mostly through Transylvania, and it was fantastic. He is both professional and personable - he does not leave his personality behind but engages authentically. He is knowledgeable on the topics prepared in the tour, but also on all sorts of other matters of history, landscape, architecture and current everyday life in Romania. The tour was really well put together with a balanced mix of the most popular tourist attractions and some fascinating off-the-beaten-track nooks and crannies, which we never could have found our own way to. He has clearly cultivated good working relationships with the people at the various sites, and his tour guide status makes accessing the attractions much quicker and easier. He recommended good hotels and restaurants for us and made everything easy. 100% can recommend.
