Car
If you are driving, head towards the town of Câlnic, which is located approximately 15 kilometers from the city of Alba Iulia. From Alba Iulia, take the DN1 road toward Sebeș. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Câlnic and follow the signs. Once you reach Câlnic, the fortress is located just a few kilometers from the center of the village. There is parking available near the fortress, although it may be limited during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
To reach Câlnic Fortress via public transport, first travel to Alba Iulia by bus or train from your location in Crișana. From Alba Iulia, you can take a local bus to Câlnic. Buses run several times a day, but it is recommended to check the schedule in advance for exact timings. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Câlnic, follow the signs to the fortress, which is within walking distance from the bus stop. Prepare to walk for about 15-20 minutes.

For those already in the vicinity of Câlnic, the fortress is accessible by foot from the village center. Simply follow local signs pointing towards Câlnic Fortress. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path may include uneven terrain.
