If you are traveling by car, head to the nearest major city in Crișana, such as Oradea. From Oradea, take DN1 towards Cluj-Napoca. Continue on DN1 until you reach the junction for DN17. Take DN17 towards Bistrița. After about 100 km, you will reach the junction for DN15. Follow DN15 and it will lead you toward Voroneț Monastery. As you approach Voroneț, follow the signs to Strada Voroneț 166, where the monastery is located. Parking is available near the monastery, but be aware that it may be limited during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train or bus to Suceava, which is the closest major city to Voroneț Monastery. From Suceava, you can take a local bus heading to Gura Humorului. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once in Gura Humorului, you will need to take a taxi or another local bus that heads directly to Voroneț. The taxi ride will be approximately 10-15 minutes, while the local bus might take a little longer depending on the schedule.
