If you are traveling by car, you will want to start from the center of Dâmbovita. Head south on DN71 toward Târgoviște. After approximately 12 km, you will reach the exit for DC 22. Take this exit and continue on DC 22 for about 15 km. Keep an eye out for signs to Dambovicioara Cave, which will be directly off DC 22. The cave is located at GPS coordinates (45.4442709, 25.2227597). There is parking available near the cave entrance.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from the Dâmbovita bus station to the nearest village, Dâmbovicioara. Buses run several times a day, and the fare is typically around 10-15 RON. Once you arrive in Dâmbovicioara, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach Dambovicioara Cave.
