If you're traveling by car from Dâmbovița, start by heading northwest on DN71 from Târgoviște. Follow DN71 for about 40 kilometers until you reach Sinaia. Once in Sinaia, follow the signs to Peleș Castle, which is located at Aleea Peleșului 2. There is parking available near the castle, but be aware that it may incur a small fee, typically around 10 RON per day.
Public Transportation - Train
For those taking public transportation, board a train from Târgoviște to Sinaia. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and trains run regularly. Once you arrive at the Sinaia train station, exit the station and take a taxi or a local bus toward Peleș Castle. The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes and cost around 15-20 RON. Alternatively, you can walk to the castle, which takes about 30-40 minutes along a scenic route.
Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus from Târgoviște to Sinaia. Buses depart from the main bus station in Târgoviște. The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arriving at the Sinaia bus station, you can walk to Peleș Castle, which is about a 30-minute walk. Follow the main road signs toward Aleea Peleșului. If you prefer not to walk, taxis are available at the bus station.
