Walking
Start at the Deva Train Station. Exit the station and head towards the main road (Strada 1 Decembrie 1918). Turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with Strada Mihai Eminescu. Turn right onto Strada Mihai Eminescu and continue straight. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Strada Horia. Turn left onto Strada Horia and walk for another 1.5 kilometers. This road will lead you out of Deva towards Mălăiești village. When you reach Mălăiești, follow the signs to Cetatea Mălăiești, which is located a short distance from the main road.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Deva, head to the Deva Bus Station located near the city center. Look for a bus that goes to Mălăiești. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Mălăiești, exit the bus and ask for directions to Cetatea Mălăiești, which is typically well-known among locals. You can walk to the fortress from the bus stop, following the signs.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Deva. Start at the Deva Train Station and follow the same route you would take by walking: head towards Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 and continue to Strada Mihai Eminescu. Once on Strada Horia, you can enjoy a scenic ride towards Mălăiești. The journey will take around 30 to 45 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Mălăiești, look for signs to Cetatea Mălăiești.
