Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the city center of Galați. Head southwest on Strada Domnească towards Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Continue on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 for approximately 1.5 km until you reach Strada Victor Valcovici. Turn left onto Strada Victor Valcovici. The Television Tower will be on your right at Str. Victor Valcovici 2. There is usually street parking available, but be mindful of parking regulations to avoid fines.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach the Television Tower using public transportation, find the nearest bus stop in the city center. You can take bus line 2 or 7, which frequently run routes through the city. Board the bus and remain on it for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop named 'Victor Valcovici'. After disembarking, walk approximately 5 minutes down Strada Victor Valcovici and you will arrive at the Television Tower located at Str. Victor Valcovici 2. A single bus ticket costs around 2 RON, which you can purchase from kiosks or the bus driver.

• Walking

  For those who prefer walking, you can start from the city center and head southwest towards Strada Domnească. Walk along this road for about 1 km. Then, turn left at the intersection onto Strada Victor Valcovici and continue for around 0.5 km. The Television Tower will be on your right at Str. Victor Valcovici 2. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-25 minutes.
