If you are driving from the city center of Târgu Jiu, take DJ665 towards Târgu Jiu - Novaci Road. Continue for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction with DJ672C. Turn left onto DJ672C. Follow this road for about 10 km, passing through the village of Sănătești. The entrance to Sohodol Gorges will be on your left. There is no parking fee, but be sure to check for any local parking regulations.

From Târgu Jiu, head to the local bus station and take a bus heading towards Novaci. The bus journey takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Sănătești, which is along DJ672C. Once you get off, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the entrance of the Sohodol Gorges. The bus fare is around 8 RON. Check the local bus schedules for the latest departure times.
