Car
If you are driving from any location in Harghita, head towards DN12C. You can start from Miercurea Ciuc or Gheorgheni, both of which are well-connected towns. From Miercurea Ciuc, take the E578 road and merge onto DN12C. Follow the signs for Cheile Bicazului for about 30 km. The scenic route will take you through beautiful landscapes. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signposts as you approach the gorge. There is ample parking available near the main entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Cheile Bicazului by public transport, you can take a bus from Miercurea Ciuc or Gheorgheni. Check the local schedules for buses heading towards Bicaz. The journey usually takes around an hour. Once you arrive at Bicaz, you may need to take a taxi or a local minibus to reach the entrance of Cheile Bicazului. The taxi fare from Bicaz to the gorge should be around 30-50 RON depending on the distance and negotiation. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.
