Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Miercurea Ciuc. Head northwest on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 towards Strada Al. I. Cuza. Continue onto DJ138, following the signs for Lacul Roșu. After about 30 km, you will see signs for Red Lake. Turn left onto the access road leading to the lake. There is parking available near the lake.
Public Transportation
To reach Red Lake by public transportation, take a bus from Miercurea Ciuc to Gheorgheni. Buses run regularly, so check the local schedule. Once in Gheorgheni, transfer to a local minibus heading to Lacul Roșu. The minibus will drop you off near the lake entrance. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Red Lake, as routes may vary.
