From Hunedoara, head southeast on DN66 towards Deva. Continue on DN66 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Hațeg. From Hațeg, take the road towards Râușor, which will lead you to the Retezat National Park. Follow the signs for the Retezat National Park and continue driving until you reach the Retezat National Park entrance. There is a parking area where you can leave your car. From here, you will need to hike approximately 2 to 3 hours along marked trails to reach Lacul Bucura.
