Car
From the center of Hunedoara, head southeast on Strada 22 Decembrie 1989 towards Strada Horea. Turn left onto Strada Horea, then take a slight right onto DN66. Continue on DN66 until you reach the intersection with DJ687. Turn left onto DJ687 and follow this road. After approximately 15 km, you will reach Peșteana. The Muzeul Satului Hațegan will be on your right at address Peșteana 337208. Parking is usually available nearby but may incur a small fee depending on the time of year.

From Hunedoara, take a bus from the main bus station (Autogara Hunedoara) to Peșteana. Check the local bus schedule for the latest timings, as they may vary. The journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Peșteana, Muzeul Satului Hațegan will be a short walk away. Follow the signs towards Peșteana 337208, which is approximately 1 km from the bus stop. Be prepared for a small fee for the bus ride, which is usually around 5-10 RON.
