From central Hunedoara, head southwest on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 toward Strada Mihai Viteazul. After approximately 1.5 km, turn left onto DC65. Continue on DC65 for about 5 km until you reach the entrance to Peștera Șura Mare. There is a small parking area nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations. Note that the road may have some rough patches, so drive cautiously.

Start at the Hunedoara bus station (Autogara Hunedoara). Take a bus heading towards the village of Sălașu de Sus or a similar route that stops near the area of DC65.
