After passing through Simeria, continue on DN66 for another 2 km until you reach the signs for Ruinele Hanului. Turn left onto the road that leads to the ruins. There is a small parking area near the site, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
To reach Ruinele Hanului via public transportation, take a local bus from Hunedoara to Simeria. Buses depart frequently from the main bus station in Hunedoara (Autogara Hunedoara). The journey takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately 5 RON. Once you arrive in Simeria, look for a taxi or consider walking the remaining 2 km to the ruins. Taxis usually charge around 10-15 RON for the short trip.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk from Simeria to Ruinele Hanului, it's about a 25-minute walk. From the bus station in Simeria, head southeast towards the DN66 highway.
