Food and history tour of Bucharest
Andreea was an amazing guide who was so incredibly knowledgeable of Romania and its history. Not only that but she brought us snacks from her home and took us to an amazing restaurant that gave a modern twist of traditional Romanian cuisine. The price is totally worth it especially if you enjoy history. Not only did we spend our full tour time but we even went over time a bit due to her kindness and enthusiasm. Would highly recommend her to anyone going to Bucharest

Highly recommended. Interesting, easy to use, easy to follow
Highly recommended tour. I was hesitant because of few reviews, but I am very happy I did it. The tour was technically flawless, made it easy to follow the route, I knew where I was at all times, and the commentary was interesting. It is very convenient to be able to start and stop when you wish and go at your own pace. I would highly recommend this tour and offer my congratulations to the company developing this product. It was great!

Taste of Bucharest: Food and Culture Private Tour
Outstanding food and cultural tour in Bucharest
We have done food tours in other cities and Manuela’s tour of Bucharest food and culture ranks right at the top. The tour was an excellent value, lasting over four hours and consisting of a gut-busting assortment of pastry, a stuffed pretzel, chocolates, a full lunch/dinner and dessert plus a special coffee drink, beer, water and tea. All of the elements were truly unique to Romania and the region. The dessert was my personal favorite, consisting of a crepe-like pastry stuffed with sour cherry filling. Compared to food in the U.S., Romanian fare is much less salty and sweet, allowing the natural flavors to shine. The tour lead us through the city, stopping along the way at key cultural and historical sites with a thorough explanation of their significance. Manuela generously answered our questions about life in Bucharest as well as the history of Romania. All in all, we highly recommend this tour. It made for an informative, filling afternoon.
