Car
If you are driving from the center of Ilfov, head towards Bucharest via the DN1 road. Continue on DN1, following the signs for Bucharest. Once you reach Bucharest, take the exit towards Sector 1. Keep following the road signs to the city center. As you get closer, turn right onto Strada Benjamin Franklin. The Romanian Athenaeum will be on your right at number 1-3. Look for available parking in the surrounding areas, as parking can be limited.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus or tram to Bucharest. From Ilfov, you can catch the 783 bus or the 449 bus, which will take you directly into the city. Once you arrive at the Bucharest city center, you can transfer to metro line M2 (the blue line) at Piata Unirii station. Travel towards Pipera and get off at the next stop, Universitate. From there, it is a 10-minute walk: head northeast on Strada Batiștei, then turn right onto Strada Benjamin Franklin. The Romanian Athenaeum will be on your left at number 1-3.
