Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Ilfov. Take DN1 road (E60) heading north towards Ploiești. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Snagov. Continue on DJ101A for about 5 km until you reach Snagov. Follow the signs to Snagov Palace, which is situated near the lake. There is a parking area available near the palace, but it may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation

To reach Snagov Palace by public transportation, take the train from Bucharest Nord Station to Snagov Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Snagov Station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) following the signs to Snagov Palace or take a local taxi for a short ride (around 10-15 RON). Alternatively, you can take a bus from Bucharest to Snagov; buses frequently depart from the city center and the journey takes about 40 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs toward Snagov Palace.
