From Baia Mare, take DN1C towards Dej. After approximately 30 km, take the turnoff to DJ109 towards Remetea Chioarului. Continue on DJ109 for about 12 km until you reach the village of Remetea Chioarului. The Cetatea Chioarului is located at the edge of the village, easily visible from the main road. Parking is available nearby, but be cautious as spaces may be limited during peak tourist times.

From Baia Mare, take a bus to Remetea Chioarului. Buses leave regularly from the Baia Mare bus station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Remetea Chioarului bus stop, walk towards the center of the village, and you will see signs leading to Cetatea Chioarului, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
