From Baia Mare, take DN18 towards the village of Bârsana. Continue on DN18 for approximately 40 kilometers. As you approach the village of Bârsana, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Muzeul Rădăcinilor, which is located on DN18. The museum is situated on the right side of the road, and there is parking available nearby.

From Baia Mare, take a local bus heading towards Bârsana. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Bârsana, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Muzeul Rădăcinilor. Head south on DN18, and the museum will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.
