If you are driving from Chernivtsi, take Route E85 towards the town of Vyzhnytsia. Continue along E85 for about 70 km until you reach the town of Bălăceana. From there, follow local signage for DJ177C towards Prislop Pass. The last stretch of the road will be a winding mountain road, so drive carefully. The pass is located at coordinates 47.6091° N, 24.8560° E.

To reach Prislop Pass via public transport, take a bus from Chernivtsi to the town of Bălăceana. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around 50 UAH. Once you arrive in Bălăceana, you can hire a taxi to take you to the Prislop Pass. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 100-150 UAH for the taxi ride.

Alternatively, you can take a train from Chernivtsi to the nearest railway station, which is in the town of Câmpulung Moldovenesc. Taxi fares from the station should be around 200-250 UAH.
