Car
If you are driving from Olt to Alba-Carolina Citadel, start by taking DN65 towards Slatina. Continue on DN65 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with DN1. Merge onto DN1 and follow it north towards Alba Iulia. After about 70 kilometers, take the exit towards Alba Iulia. Keep following the signs to the city center and you will arrive at Calea Moților 5A, where the citadel is located. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the area.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Olt. Look for a bus heading to Alba Iulia; several services operate daily. The journey typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on stops. Once you arrive at the Alba Iulia bus station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to reach Calea Moților 5A. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around 20-30 RON.
Public Transportation (Train)
For train travel, head to the nearest train station in Olt. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Alba Iulia. The train journey usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Alba Iulia train station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Calea Moților 5A. Taxis are available outside the station, with fares around 20-30 RON. Alternatively, you can walk which would take about 30 minutes.
