Car
If you are traveling by car from Olt, start by taking DN65 (E574) towards Pitești. Continue on DN65 until you reach the intersection with DN1. Turn left onto DN1 and follow the signs for Brașov/Sinaia. After approximately 90 km, you will arrive in Sinaia. Once in Sinaia, follow the signs to Peleș Castle, which is located at Aleea Peleșului 2. There is parking available near the castle, but check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Peleș Castle via public transportation, take a train from a station in Olt (such as Slatina) to Sinaia. Check the schedule for direct trains to Sinaia, as the journey may take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Sinaia train station, exit the station and look for local buses or taxis that go to Peleș Castle. The castle is about 3 km from the train station, and a taxi ride will take around 5-10 minutes, costing approximately 10-20 RON. Alternatively, you can walk, which will take around 30-40 minutes.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer traveling by bus, look for a bus service that operates from your location in Olt to Sinaia. The journey may take longer than by train, ranging from 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Sinaia bus station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Peleș Castle. The taxi will cost about 10-20 RON and will take approximately 5-10 minutes.
