Continue on DN7A for about 15 kilometers until you reach Cheile Jietului, which will be on your left. There is parking available near the entrance to the hiking area. Be aware that there may be a small parking fee, typically around 5 RON.

To reach Cheile Jietului via public transportation, take a train or bus from larger cities such as Bucharest or Targu Jiu to Petrosani. From Petrosani, you can take a local bus that operates on the route towards Ranca. Ask the driver to stop at Cheile Jietului. The bus ride may cost around 10-15 RON.
