Car
From Poiana Brașov, start by heading down the DN1E road. After about 12 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Brașov. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Mureșenilor. Turn right onto Strada Mureșenilor and follow it until you reach the base of Tâmpa Mountain. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car. Keep in mind that parking may incur a fee, typically around 5 RON per hour.

Public Transportation
From Poiana Brașov, catch the local bus (Bus 20) that travels to Brașov city center. The bus departs from the central bus station in Poiana Brașov. The fare is approximately 8 RON. Once you arrive at the Brașov Bus Station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the base of Tâmpa Mountain. If walking, follow Strada Mureșenilor towards the mountain. From the base, you can either hike up the trail or take the cable car to the Brașov City Viewing Platform at the top of Tâmpa Mountain. The cable car ticket costs around 30 RON for a round trip.
